PSALM 12:6 (Passion Translation)

“For every word God speaks is sure and every promise pure.  His truth is tested, found to be flawless, and ever faithful.  It’s pure as sterling silver, refined seven times in a crucible of clay.”

How good is it to have a God who’s words are flawless? We live in a world where the words of man can so often be dishonest and untrustworthy. But we worship a God who's words are perfect, and they always come at the right time, in the right way, and in the right season. We were created and designed to be the carriers of God’s word, just like the “crucible of clay” that David references in this scripture which was something used to refine and pour precious metals like silver and gold into because it could hold them and not melt, God longs to pour his flawless words into our heart, he wants to trust us with his deepest insight and revelation. So be encouraged today that as you make time to spend alone with God, and step away from the words of the world surrounding you, that he is going to download the truth that only he can speak into your heart.
