Colossians 3:1-3 "Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on the things above, not the things on earth, for you died and your life is now hidden with Christ in God."

What's your heart set on today? The word 'set' in the dictionary means fixed, firm, entrenched, inflexible. We all have things in our hearts that we can get set on, i.e. money, sport, career, a person (or lack of) social media, opinions of others ,maybe possessions? Whatever it is, one thing I have found is that anything you have to have, and your happiness depends upon it, can potentially end up being an idol in your life. Where your mind goes your heart will follow... That's why God wants are hearts and minds set on Him. So that we would follow Him. The best way to safeguard against having idols in your heart is to actively and daily look for ways and opportunities to take care of what's on Gods heart and in return I have found without exception- He takes care of what's on yours!
