The worship practicum is designed to give students a behind-the-scenes look at how The Belonging Co stewards its worship services every week, and provide hands-on training in all aspects of worship ministry.

Students will first learn how to engage in the presence of God, then be trained in set list building, how to run rehearsals with a band, song & key choice, transitions, and flowing in spontaneous moments.

Additionally students will gain experience in songwriting, leading, creating and maintaining thriving worship cultures, as well as to how to become the leader God has called them to be on and off the stage.

Worship track students will have opportunities to lead and be led in a variety of worship environments, learning how to steward the most important aspect of worship – encountering Jesus, through the power of Holy Spirit.

Discover and release your creativity through graphic and digital design, social media, film and video, photography and communications. Students will learn a church-centered creative process, develop technical proficiency in your gift and grow in leadership all while producing cutting edge, high-end visual content.

Our mission is to see a generation of young people who are free, fully alive, and on fire for God. We believe there is no “Junior Holy Spirit” and we all have access to the full power and authority of Jesus. This track provides the opportunity to learn from seasoned youth and kids pastors. Students will learn how to plan weekend services, developing curriculums and age-appropriate activities.

Students will receive training in audio, lighting, live video, and other forms of live production from our staff and industry leaders who understand the importance of excellence and setting the stage for God to come and move. This track provides an opportunity to learn practical elements of production, creative development, and technical skills that accompany a worship environment.
