TBCO TALKS

Cleaning the waters is what we’ve been called to. Take a peek behind the curtain to see how we do this.

TBCO Talks is our take on breakout sessions. Each day of conference we host four, 20-minute panels on how we are working to “clean the waters” of our city and world. These sessions are designed to inspire and equip us all to be the Church in every facet of life. Topics include:

The Pursuit Of A Healthy Church, Leading And Influencing In The Marketplace, Being Famous At Home, The Next Generation: There Is No Junior Holy Spirit, Developing A Lifestyle Of Prayer, The Heart Of Worship, Making An Impact In Your Community, and Building Disciples

FRIDAY

2:00 PM – 3:50 PM

The Pursuit Of A Healthy Church

SPEAKERS: Henry + Alex Seeley & TBCO Staff

The Church is meant to be a reflection of the kingdom of heaven on earth. Not just on Sunday mornings, but behind closed doors, during staff meetings, and within the relational culture of church staff. For some, this may feel very far off from the reality of your current environment. Hear from Henry and Alex as they share, how do we get back to Christ’s foundational purpose for the church?

Leading And Influencing In The Marketplace

SPEAKERS: Benji Kuriakose, Taylor Welch, EJ Gaines, & Candice Watkins

Not everyone is called to vocational ministry, but we are all called to be and make disciples. How does one do that as an employer or employee in a normal workplace setting? This session will take a deeper look at marketplace ministry and how to be on mission through employment. Join members of the workforce as they share their experiences of being the hands and feet of Jesus at their workplace.

Being Famous At Home

SPEAKERS: Josh & Christi Straub

How do we build relationships that have longevity and can withstand societal pressure and even the test of time? Listen to Josh and Chrissy Straub reveal in detail practical ways to build healthy relationships that honor God and reflect His love for us.

The Next Generation: There Is No Junior Holy Spirit

SPEAKERS: Mal Corwin & Josh Henry

We are told by society to not expect much from the following generation. Words like entitlement and skepticism are used to describe Generation Z. We believe something different. We serve the children in youth in our house with this belief and understanding: There is no junior Holy Spirit. The same life-changing encounters with the presence of God that we as adults have, are possible and even happening in our kids and youth. Join Mal Corwin (TBCO Kids Pastor) and Josh Henry (Youth Pastor) as they detail the intentionality behind how we serve this next generation and testify to how we’ve seen incredible moves of God amongst our children.

SATURDAY

2:00 PM – 3:50 PM

Developing A Lifestyle Of Prayer

SPEAKERS: Missy Crosson & Stephanie Sohnchen

1 Thessalonians 5:16 tells us to pray without ceasing. But what does this mean in the context of the business of our lives and ministries? Do we forsake all earthly tasks to solely focus on heaven? Missy Crosson and Stephanie Sohnchen dive into what it means to build personal time with the Lord. Not for your ministry, or your next sermon, but for you. Step out of guilt in this area of your life, and begin to walk in deeper communion with God.

The Heart Of Worship

SPEAKERS: Natalie Herms, Andrew Holt, Cody Carnes, & Mia Fieldes

We get to encounter the presence of God through our worship week in and week out, and we still marvel at the beauty. However, what we experience during a service is just the overflow of what has been sown before our team ever steps foot on a stage. Join as we hear from Natalie Herms, Andrew Holt, Cody Carnes + Mia Fields as they share how discipleship has shaped the health and unity of the worship of The Belonging Co and what it means to be in single-minded pursuit of the presence of God.

Making An Impact In Your Community

SPEAKERS: Ryan Lampa & Mike Keck

1 Thessalonians 5:16 tells us to pray without ceasing. But what does this mean in the context of the business of our lives and ministries? Do we forsake all earthly tasks to solely focus on heaven? Missy Crosson and Stephanie Sohnchen dive into what it means to build personal time with the Lord. Not for your ministry, or your next sermon, but for you. Step out of guilt in this area of your life, and begin to walk in deeper communion with God.

Building Disciples

SPEAKERS: Henry Seeley, Alex Seeley, & Paul Bergin

Christianity is so much more than what happens inside the four walls of a building for two hours on a Sunday. How do we take what we’ve experienced in a church service into our day-to-day lives? Join as we hear from Pastors Alex and Henry Seeley as they share how they tangibly build disciples.
