of Presence

To be with God is the deepest longing of our hearts. To understand what it is to be a follower of Jesus was never meant to be a walk composed of teasing illusions, confusing mirages, occasional interaction, or sterile rule following. But rather one of conscious closeness.

It is a mystery that we can know something of God, whose ways are higher and ultimately unknowable. Yet the God of Heaven and Earth has given of himself in such a way that we should perceive not only of his attributes and his plan for mankind, but of his living presence.

Much more than a to-do list, discipleship is to be shaped and forged in the abiding and inviting beauty of his holy presence — the merciful, convicting and glorious truth of the person of Jesus Christ.

The Path of Presence is the journey through several key mountains and various “presence” encounters of the Bible exploring the responses of Biblical characters, culminating in the fulfilling destination of Jesus Christ.
