Practicum Experience.
Students of The Belonging Co College will serve alongside seasoned leaders, gain ministry experience and leadership-intensive training while building community within our church. Areas of training will include Pastoral Leadership, Worship, Digital Media, Psychology, Production and Business.
Receive in-depth ministry training and experience in a church that values intimacy over industry, encounter over entertainment, presence over presentation, people over position and Jesus above everything.
Sometimes the greatest learning environments are found outside of the classroom. We equip you to succeed in your chosen field through on-site practicum opportunities.
Pastoral Leadership.
Serve alongside our pastors to experience the diversity of pastoral ministry. Training includes pastoral care, church administration, and how to prepare services, lead teams, and manage church life. Students will have the opportunity to shadow our pastors as they minister to our church through prayer, discipleship, and community.
Psychology.
Gain practical training from Nashville-based certified counselors who teach our students best practices on their journeys to becoming psychologists. Students will learn from field experts through mock sessions, informative lectures and group activities that will supplement their degree courses.
Digital Media.
Discover and release your creativity through graphic and digital design, social media, film and video, photography and communications. Students will learn a church-centered creative process, develop technical proficiency in your gift and grow in leadership all while producing cutting edge, high-end visual content.
Production.
Learn from industry-leading experts to gain practical experience in studio production, live sound, technology and mix engineering. Students will also become equipped to learn how to lead teams while growing their skills and practicing in various settings.
Worship.
Learn how to engage in the presence of God, then be trained in set list building, how to run rehearsals with a band, song & key choice, transitions, and flowing in spontaneous moments. Students will gain experience in songwriting, leading teams, creating and maintaining thriving worship cultures, as well as to how to become the leader God has called them to be on and off the stage.
Business + Leadership.
Learn from some of the most successful business owners in Nashville on how to incorporate faith into the workplace. Students will gain practical training in entrepreneurship, managerial concepts, and successfully leading teams.
