Camp Information
FIRST OFF, WHAT IS KIDS CAMP?!
Camp is four days filled with fun, friends, and incredible encounters with Jesus! We’ll start the summer by learning that God has set us FREE! We’ll press into all God wants to say to us and over us! From ziplines to late night activities, worship and teaching, your child will not only grow in their relationship with God, but with each other too! If your child is new to church, camp is the BEST place to solidfy new friendships! We’ll spend time in incredible worship, learning from amazing speakers, and we’ll have a blast with everything the camp has to offer! We’re headed to Ocoee Retreat Center this year!
WILL MY CHILD BE SAFE?
Your child’s safety is our highest priority! Because of this, our adult to child ratio is extremely low with a minimum of two adults per cabin and many other adults on campus to assist. Each adult on campus, regardless of their role, has secured a background check and has close contact with someone on our pastoral team. Kids will be placed in cabins based on their ages and gender. Bathroom and shower facilities are in their gender specific cabins and adults on campus will never shower at the same time as children! The campground has highly trained lifeguards and safety staff and our TBCO Kids team follows above standard protocol on CPR certifications as well as medical staff on site to administer medications or make emergency decisions if needed.
MY CHILD HAS NEVER STAYED OVERNIGHT BEFORE!
Each and every year we understand parents concerns regarding overnight camp! Our TBCO Kids team is incredible at making each child feel safe, secure and brave! In all our years of camp, we’ve only ever had one camper go home homesick with extenuating circumstances. If you’re on the fence, reach out! We’d love to chat with you! TBCO Kids camp will change them for the better!
WHAT ABOUT MEALS + SNACKS, DOES MY CHILD NEED MONEY?
We ask that you pack your child a NUT FREE lunch for the bus, but from dinner on Monday to breakfast on Thursday, each meal will be covered by camp! We will offer several snack options throughout the week as well! If your child chooses to bring any snacks, please ensure that they are NUT FREE! If your child has any allergies, please list them in the appropriate section when registering so we can be sure to accommodate or have you plan accordingly.
Your child will not need money at camp.
YOUR CAMP ISN’T IN NASHVILLE. HOW WILL MY CHILD GET THERE?
Our camp is at Adventure Ocoee in Ocoee TN which is about an hour outside of Chattanooga, three hours away from Nashville. You’re more than welcome to bring your child to camp, but we also offer a bus to and from camp for an additional fee. Please note, we may start a bus waiting list in May dependent on bus and camp numbers.

CELL PHONES. FRIENDS, ETC?
Our goal is that your child have the absolute BEST time encountering God and building community with friends. Because of this we’re asking that your child does not bring his or her cell phone, ipad, smart watch, or any other technology to camp. If we see technology, we will take it and keep it safe with staff for the remainder of the week. The Belonging Co staff and leadership will have their phones should the need arise.
We’re working our best to put your child with his or her friends at camp! We’ve asked that in your registration you put the name of 1 or 2 friends that your child would want to be with in their cabin!
WHAT IF I CAN'T AFFORD CAMP?
Please don’t let money be the reason to miss camp. We’ve set up a scholarship application form. Email us with any questions or concerns you may have.
CAN I SPONSOR A STUDENT?

CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK IF MY CHILD CAN'T GO?
Our refund policy is as stated: You can get a full refund (excluding fees) were you to cancel before April 15. If you cancel after April 15- May 16th, you will receive a half refund. After May 17th, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate refunds.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD PACK?
We remember how much fun it was to pack for camp, so be sure to check your email closer to June for a detailed list of packing needs as well as a full parent packet with all kinds of important information!
