Start a youth co club to reach your middle school or high school! Whether you go to a public school, private school, or co-op, we want to partner with you as a youth ministry to share the gospel with students on your campus.
We recognize that every school is different, but all of this begins with faith – believing that God can use you to lead other students to the life changing truth and power of Jesus.
Here’s a general framework for the steps that you can take to start a club:
Connect with your principal or an administrator and express a desire to start a ‘ycc’ at lunch time. This is the best and most impactful time to run the club, but you can explore other open doors such as before or after school too.
Working with your school, choose a location (e.g. a classroom) and a day in the week to do the club. We recommend that you meet once a week, and a Wednesday would be a great day if you’re wanting to invite students to youth that night.
Set a start time and spread the word. Don’t worry at all if it begins small or simply with your immediate circle of friends. Clubs on campuses take time to grow!
Youth co will show up with free food and signage, and be ready to hang with students.
Free food every week (duh… whatever you want)
Leader attendance and mentorship (we’ve got your back!)
YCC signage (so it looks legit!)
Help with the structure of the club (hangs, prayer, and sharing a word!)
Identify other ways we can support your school (we want to build relationships)
Together, we can make a difference in Nashville! For real.
