Youth Co Summer Camp 2025

Camp 2025 will take place in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. We are setting aside time to hear from God and encounter his presence this July. God is calling his youth into the light. For many, these four nights away is not just a camp, but an awakening. Something new to step into. It’s time to rise as a generation and a movement of teenagers who shine the light of Jesus Christ out into the world. We cannot wait to see you in July!

“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Ephesians 5:14 ESV

This is a 5 day summer camp jam-packed with next-level activities, opportunities to build lasting friendships, and a lot of powerful moments in God’s presence. Our mornings and evenings will have life-changing meetings with worship, the word, and ministry time. And our days will be packed full of rec and fun activities including lake time, pool hangs, ziplining and so much more!

New? Visiting? Been a thousand times? Camp is a great way to truly connect with our youth ministry. Feel free to have a look at Young Life’s Carolina Point’s website for more information on some of the activities that are available.

We are excited to be at another Young Life campground this year in Brevard, North Carolina. This beautiful campground is 5.5 hours away and sits on an incredible property in the Carolina mountains. Here is a link to the campground.

Your student’s safety is the highest priority to us while we are away at camp. We give great weight to the fact that you have entrusted us with your teenager for the week.

Our leader to student ratio is thoughtfully laid out and every room in every cabin has 1-3 leaders in it, depending on the number of students. We bring 2-3 qualified nurses with us to camp to respond to any medical concerns if needed. Every adult on the campground has undergone an extensive background check. Students are placed in cabins based on their gender and age. We have certified lifeguards with us and life jackets are required when using the lake.

Every meal from Sunday night to Thursday morning are covered in your camp registration! We do ask that students bring a lunch and snacks with them for the bus ride to camp.

If your student would like to buy anything from the onsite snack bar throughout the week, they will need to bring additional money for that.

If your student chooses to bring any snacks, please be sure they are nut free! If your teenager has any allergies please list them in the appropriate section when registering them so we can be sure to accommodate.

There is a field in the registration form to note any allergies or medical conditions. Please be sure to indicate it on the registration form. You can also communicate this with our staff by emailing us at youth@thebelonging.co

Our campground is 5.5 hours away in Brevard, NC. We have charter buses that will take us to and from camp. We will be leaving Sunday after church from two locations this year – Franklin and Nashville. If you choose to take your student to the campground yourself, you can indicate that in the registration process.

We have a strict cell phone policy at our summer camps. We always want to prioritize students being present and fully experiencing camp by disconnecting from everyday life. For this reason, we limit student’s access to their phones during camp.

We highly encourage you to not send your students with a phone. If students do bring a phone, they will be collected and kept by leaders upon arriving at the campground.

Phones will be allowed during afternoon free time each day only and accessible by asking a leader to retrieve the phone. We understand that taking pictures and capturing memories is important, and we want to create space for that to happen. We also give every student access to the professional photos that are taken by our team throughout the week.

Phones must be turned back in before dinner. There will be absolutely no phones during cabin time or sessions and if students are caught with phones outside of the allotted window, we will respectfully take them away for the remainder of camp.

Parents will have access to our youth pastor’s phone numbers, as well as all of the contact information for the camp, in case of emergency. We highly encourage parents to talk to their students about this policy before coming to camp, so that it can be a great experience for everyone.

We will send a parent pack with all the details for packing closer to July. Please watch your email for that information!

We have students come from all over the country for camp every year, which we love! You are more than welcome to send students to camp, however we are not set up to accommodate leaders or pastors from other youth ministries. If students from your youth ministry join us, they will be integrated into camp along with all of the other campers.

Feel free to email youth@thebelonging.co with any questions! We will also ensure that you have email and phone number information during the camp week.
